Julia (site founder/owner):

Cat-World was established in 2002 & has grown into one of the largest cat websites in the world. It has hundreds of articles on all aspects of cat health, cat care & cat products as well as a large online community with 13,000 members.

I have been an avid cat lover since I was a small child and had planned to become a veterinarian until I realised I was too squeamish. I have had cats all my life, my first two were moggies called Saffron & Proton. Later on, we adopted two Siamese cats called Tits & Wabbit. Both sadly died of Feline Leukemia while still very young. At the time (late 1970's), the virus was still very new & not well understood.

I currently live in Sydney with my husband and two children. I work as an Office Manager. We share our home with three cats, Misha, Mitzy & Levi, and Dizzy, our chocolate Labrador.

Co-Admistrators/Moderators:

Running a large online community requires an enormous abount of work & a special mention goes to my moderators & co-administrators who help keep the forums running.

Our current team includes;

Heather, Joy, Chocolate Dots, tabykitten, IMOM, HarlyD, Satchmo, maigrey, Pixiekatz & Inca. 

I must also include past moderators. Without each & every one of you, the forums couldn't have been maintained.
