Hello

I wanted to introduce my beautiful new kitten, Hermione, who was born on 23rd November at Shyann Cattery on the NSW Central Coast and I brought her home on 12th February.

My name is Debra and I live in Randwick - a suburb in Sydney.

Hermione is a purebred Blue British Shorthair and is an absolute joy. I didn't realise how wonderful it would feel to have her warm little body snuggle up next to me - its so calming and just melts my heart.

She is a little dynamo at the moment. She runs around the house playing some game that only she understands. She eats well and poops well and we've only had two wet accidents (on the same doona cover) but else is house trained.

She is very curious right now and I am trying to prevent her from getting outside when I open to the front door and as I want her to be a house cat, I am madly trying to curb this behaviour.

She is so funny at times. I love watching her go to sleep on her back, legs spread out, as if she doesn't have a care in the world. Not very lady like but so cute.

I recently found out that my neighbour bought a kitten from the same breeder and that their mothers are sisters so I am hoping the little cousins can have some play dates!

I hope to become a regular on the forums and get lots of advice from your experienced members.

Debra and Hermione

hi!
I have a cat just like yours, she's a british blue, has the same birthday as your cat, comes from Shyann Cattery and guess what, is also called Hermione!
My Hermione is a psychotic, wonderful cat who jumps halfway up walls chasing shadows, goes outdoors on a leash(due to close proximity to the bush), absolutely adores human company, is extremely intelligent, enjoys waking people up as soon as she can, likes having her fur ruffled and has a best mate known as Leo who is a Ragdoll (the breed of cat, not the toy).
Hermione also loves sleeping on her back with her legs spread!
How is your Hermione?
Sincerely,
British_Ragdoll
