I bought a Ragaper for my mother last year (I am from ontario canada) and I can't say enough about him. We could never have cats because I was allergic so now that I am out of the house I thought it would be nice to get mum the cat she always wanted. I searched around and eventually found the most beautiful kitten that I ever saw. The Ragaper breeder called him a cameo. I don't know much about the names of cat colours but my mum ended up naming him Cognac because he was a really light peach colour. We just came from a vacation at mum's after not seeing her for a year and Cognac is all grown up and stunning. I can't say enough about his gentle personality. He knows his name and is always with her. Cognac is really great with my kids too. Funny thing is that usually I get really bad allergies to cats and although I got a little stuffy, it wasn't that bad at all and I am usually really bad. He even followed me into the shower and I didn't react. Apparently he goes into the shower a lot which is weird because I thought cats hate water. He's the greatest cat so I just had to gloat and mum is so happy.

I have to figure out how to put his photo up on here so everyone can see him. I'm not sure if mum will let me put one up of her with him but I'll check because the two are a match made in heaven. I'll have to show her this post. It will make her so proud.

I must admit they are beautiful and the cat at the top of the page with odd eyes is stunning.

They are Ragamuffin Persian crosses originally. That's the only breed that this breeder has and they only have a few. I'm not experienced with cats but what I can say is that he has huge round eyes and really soft long fur. He has a real regal look to him but his personality isn't snooty at all. He's super gentle. He is perfect for mum. My kids want one so badly now smile.gif

Thank you for being so nice everyone and I hope to keep you all updated on Cognac. I think my mum might join and start raving about him lol. What can I say, she's in love wub.gif

Well the photos came back from our vacation and I want to put another one up here of Cognac. So here is a dumb question. How do I scan a print photograph into my computer. I know everyone's eyes are rolling but we decided to use the print camera this time although I'm beginning to regret it.

Have you got a scanner??? that's the only way I know of to put photos ontoyour pc, or I once got the digital camera and took a photo of the photo then loaded it to the pc and cropped it so that only the photo of the cat was showing.

This "Breeder" tried to create her own Breed (RagaPers). She crossed RagaMuffins to CFA registered Persians which were too extreme in "Type"................Persians are no longer an accepted outcross for RagaMuffins registered in CFA.
