Which State are you in...there are some nice enclosure makers in Victoria. Some people have not had the best experiences with the one you are mentioning....while others like them. I personally like wire.

Hi thanks for the quick reply I'm in Brisbane QLD I have seen the netted ones that seem to be quite expensive but have hardly seen any wire ones.

These are very nice and portable too, but if you can do a semi-permanent construction, do think about building your own, you can have just what you want and it may be cheaper.

I prefer wire netting too as it is longer lasting.

I have a catnip one which I got when they first came out, so it is gosh 17 or more years old, it is still in great condtion, has not rusted or warped or bent at all, they are expensive now, I paid about $400 for mine, but the quality of the wire is excellent, I am about to build a big enclosure, 4 cats and adding! but given the durabilty of the weld mesh I would use it again, I have asked around among breeders they all seem to recommend the wire.
Also my vet had his first one done in netting and his siamese did work a hole in it, he said he would not use the net again.
For a small enclosure I would ue catnip or similar type, you can buy second hand too.

Mine was made by Aussie Cat Enclosures, mine is Enclosure E, except it is turned on it's end so that it is 2400 tall and 1200 wide. After I got it, hubby says, "gees I could have made one heaps cheaper than that." I could have throttled him as he didn't want to make me one sad.gif
