Hi, I am new to the forum - and have a bit of a dilema

We have purchased netting for our cat enclosure to be fitted on the side of our house (see below) we have recently had it liquid limestoned and a garden bed put in.

The netting is going to be fitted from the gutter to the fence (see lovely illustraltion below! Lol) but we have a lack of eves on the side of the house, therefore not leaving much shelter for my two furbabies.

I am trying to figure out how to fit some sort of tinted plastic or hard tinted clear sheeting (where the purple is) just enough to cover their litter and cat scratcher - and keep them protected from the elements. We have already purchased them a big plastic weather proof kennel too.

The ideas we have come up with so far

- bistro/cafe blind (but I am unsure if this will suffice or even be able to be hung on such an angle)

- tarpaulin - I am worried about the noise and the "unattractiveness" as the cat enlosure is facing right into my kitchen, dining and living area of our house.

- ultralight (polycarb roofing) - but I am unsure how we can DIY this part as it seems to be quite intricate to fix to a gutter

has anyone got any ideas or have any suggestions?

Thanks

Krikkit

I would build a frame around the top of the brickwork and down to the fence and then attach laser light to give them some protection.Maybe do half and half so they still have and area to be able to laze around in the sunshine.

I would also suggest laser light as it comes in several tinted colours. I am sure it would outlast a bistro blind.
