Hi There,

My name is Luke im from the Central Coast in NSW, We have or should i say had 2 Beautiful Male Kittens which have just gone 12months old.

On the 4th of August one of our boys was a bit naughty and took food from the kitchen, they love to be inside with us, I put him outside since then we have not seen him. He is an all black desexed male with a few white strands on his chest, he is loving and affectionate and have discovered that they were not microchipped when they were vaccinated and desexed. We have no news on his where abouts to date.

We returned yesterday from Holidays to discover that Flounder sebastians brother is missing, Our neighbour a cat lover also with three cats of her hadnt seen him for three days, We have a friend living in the flat on the back our property who looked after him while we were away. Flounder is a desexed male brown loong hair tabby wearing a red collar.

They have both gone missing from Charmhaven which is located around 30 minutes from Gosford NSW.

If anyone knows anyone in this area and has heard of they boys being found could you please let me know.

We are a young newly married couple who look at these two like our children and miss them dearly.

I am more then happy to pay a reward for the safe return of them.

Cheers

Luke

Luke I am sorry your cats are missing and hope they are found soon.

I' m going to move this over to the Lost Forum. At the head of that forum is an article on what to do to try and find lost cats....lots of notices, use of the community radio, vet and pound regular enquiries and not to give up hope. Some cats have been found after a very long time.

Maybe when you get them back consider indoors only or n enclosure to keep them safe. It is the nature of cats to roam and these days it is not safe.

Good luck finding them...

Have you contacted the local vets and pounds? I would also door knock and ask local school children.

I hope you find your boys soon. Don't give up hope. Do door knocks for at least two blocks around your house, put up posters and contact your local pounds. I would personally go and visit the pounds and have a look.Ring your local vets and contact your local schools to see if they will put a note in their newsletters.
Good Luck.

Hi Everyone, thanks for the help and support from all and the reality check. Im please to write to tell you that we have found Flounder! i walked the streets last night calling out to him and he came out of someones driveway very hungry and scared. He is well fed and home in his bed never to walk out of the house again.

We still have not had the same luck with Sebastian but i wont give up even though its been almost 6 weeks!

I will try the Schools as well thanks for that one Pam!!!

Another place to try is your local Senior Citizens club ..take a picture and brief description to them , often they see a stray in their yards..cant hurt to try. Also put a pic up in the local noticeboard down the street.

Hi Roland,

I Found Flounder last night after walking the street's, We are very happy to have him home. He woke us up with a good morning kiss and i couldnt have appreciated that anymore!!!

We still have no news on Sebastian, I have signs up on telegraph poles and at the school bus stops in servos and an ad in the local paper...!!
He has not been to the pound as i live 5 mins from there and check every couple of days. All the local anfd distant vets have our details so i still have my fingers crossed for the safe return of sebastian!!!

Great news about Flounder, and don't give up on Sebastian. They are more inclined to respond to you at night when it is quiet, so keep on trying, some furries have come home after a few months. You might want to consider making an enclosure for Flounder so that he can still experience the outside, but be safe from harm. There are lots of ideas here on the forum. Please keep us updated on our search for Sebastian, and good luck!
