Im Racheal and I am a complete cat lover.
Recently my 16 year old cat, Nelson was put down, much to the dismay and heartbreak of our whole family. He was my first baby and then my 3 children were born and he became their friend, someone they went to when they needed a hug and tell secrets too. My youngest, the biggest cat freak, used to play vets on him with her toy vet set, and he would lay there, looking at her with moist eyes. Because he loved any attention and love given and gave back twice as much. never once hissing, biting or scratching anyone especially my not so gentle toddlers. As they grew he loved them even more, bed hopping at night, so noone missed a pat and snuggle.
Nelson was legendary in my family and circle of friends, with people always asking how he was, and now, saying how much they miss him. As we all do.
Im here now hoping that maybe, someone in South Australia, knows or is, a breeder of maine Coons. After seeing and falling for them at the Royal Adelaide show, my family is desperate to fill the hole left that only a cat can fill. We have all sat down and decided its time and looked up Maine Coons for weeks. My little 8yr old cat freak asks me everyday, when do we get a kitten?? Now we are all thinking the same thing. Time to move on, though Nelson is never far away. His ashes fill and urn that is planted in a beautiful pot with a gorgeous plant growing, sitting by our dining table. watching.

I am more than happy to let you know what arrives and is available, if you would like to email me. I can also recommend other reputable breeders who may be able to assist you in your search.

Welcome to CW...
Were you at the Royal on Tuesday or Saturday when a rather large red Maine Coon was laying about on the brochure table??
I can personally promise that they barely even bat an eyelid at flying.. My MC came from NSW to SA and he was purring when I picked him up from the airport..
I would also recommend that you buy from a member of UMCFA (United Maine Coon Fanciers of Australia) I would send you the link to their website but it appears to not be working at the moment. Here it is http://au.geocities....cfa/members.htm
As a very happy MC owner I am more then happy to chat with you further
Cheers
Sarah

Welcome to this great cat loving family,
Sorry for dear Nelson,
I also love the Maine Coons,
I am owned by two Ragdolls and would love a Coonie or a Selkirk for my next once I convince the OH that our house is just too lonely with only two cats
I am a South Aussie too, live in the Southern Adelaide hills,
Cheers,paul
