Leave the room, ignor the cat and get some kitty food, when she starts to eat, slowly approach and start patting and say how sorry you are that the box fell on her. If that does not work, she will be OK in the morning and you both can join winscar and have a good laugh about it.

I hope she is ok and if the behavior continues then it might be because she is sore and you might need to get it checked. Hope it settles soon for both of you.

hehe cats they are such precious things.

At least she picked the right room to bail you up in ... you have a computer to scream for help lol. And if she aint letting you out I suggest sleep for all till everyone has calmed down.

Have you any Feliway spray. It would fix this situation.

I wonder if she is sore? If you have a blanket or jacket maybe try and gather her up in it and put her in her transport box. It might be worth taking her to the Vet for a check up.

What does ready to strike mean....You were able to get her in so I suspect you are scaring yourself. Wrap yourself in a blanket and simply walk past her....

If she flies at you she will only get the blanket - obviously keep your hands inside the blanket. She is very likely just playing but if this post is for real - please excuse me for doubting that but cats are not in the habit of bailing people up ....and if she were mine I would encourage her to go in the laundry or bathroom and she could spend the night there....preferably with food water and a litter tray.

Basically she just needs to be ignored after telling her off firmly.

Like bite or scratch me..
Ill try the blanket but i dont think i can grab her now..
I think she might bite.
Ignoring didnt really work.
I managed to get her in but she was hunting and watching my every move.
