Have you contacted breeders in your state that can point you in the right direction for the colour you want?

Sometimes they just dont always pop out colour coded and date wise but talking to the breeders will certainly help you out there.

I would also suggest pop onto the main page and look through the burmese breeders listed on there, and start contacting some of them, you may find it a bit of a challenge with a date and colour already set, good luck with your search

Also try contacting Bev from Burmese rescue society, she is the registrar for new Burmese kittens. She is also The President of the Burmese cat club here in Vic. Bev McMillan From Park Orchards Good Luck with your search.

You might like to try Sandra Ford of Boronia I know she does have a lot of lilacs. Sheryl

I take it this is a present for your daughter? I would focus on finding a good breeder, not just one who has kittens available on the 11th. If a breeder has one that is ready to go slightly earlier, they *may* agree to hang onto it for a little while (you might need to pay for food though). And if a breeder has one that won't be ready until a bit later, why not take your daughter along to see it on her birthday and just explain that it needs to stay with its mum for a bit longer. She might even be able to choose her own kitten that way. smile.gif

Thank you Squiggles, I'll go look now :-)
We got Beama from Audace Burmese who aren't too far away from here and have provided good after-sale advice. Being that I'm VERY new to cat obsession/ownership I've found that invaluable.

Very much appreciate you taking time to posting the link - I just can't get enough of a fix!!

Haha!

OMG I'm killing myself laughing here! Miss 11 was looking over my shoulder whilst i was checking out those links (Burmese breeders) and she read one breeder asking for $100 deposit to hold a kitten. She read it out loud incredulous and I reassured her that was ok, we did that when we got Beama....the silly kid thought you had to pay $100 if you went to visit and had a "hold" of a kitten in your arms - literally!! LMAO she cracks me up :-)

will send you a text....Audace Burmese have a lilac boy avail 20th Nov and will hold with $100 deposit and $5/week boarding to cover food after that date.

Good luck :-) I am getting a chocolate girl from the same litter.....for my daughter's 12th birthday. Maybe now she'll stop trying to steal my lilac boy!!
