You might remember my Valentines Day litter and a little one it we named Elf. We have struggle through weight issues - ie losing it or not putting it on,

Well as the tittle says we can't find Elf - have no idea where he has gone - I have hardly slept - I went out yesterday and he was here - I only realised very late last night I hadn't seen him since I got home at 5.30pm.

He was last seen asleep on the lounge around 3.30/4.30 - however after/around this time Emma did litter trays and she had Amber get out - she reckons Elf was still in the house, however he is nowhere to be found, and this would be the only time he would have gotten out we think - though usually the dogs let us know that they are out, and they settled after Amber was caught. I have checked all the inside cupboards - I have called him till I am hoarse - don't know where else to look. Emma was the only one at home between 12 and 4.30/5.

I spent from midnight till 2am calling him and checking the yard and house - hubby got up and looked, and he looked again this morning - I have also been out as well - had only a few hours sleep - I am hoping that someone has him - and as most vets here are closed today and will take him to/ring the vet tomorrow.

He had only just attained 1.5kg, and so was going to be desexed and microchipped in the next couple of weeks, as he was looking ready for it and his bottom problem was settling down.

Gonna make some flyers and do a house doorknock - just waiting on the damned driver to upload for the second attempt.

Ann ( his new owner) and I and the kids are devastated - I've never lost one yet, and I can't believe that he has just vanished.

Liz

I hope and pray you find Elf safe and well very soon. Have you looked in every possible place, the fridge, the oven, washing machine, dryer, any holes in couches, drawers, under beds? I do hope you find Elf very soon. All the best to you and Elf.
Love, Voula

Hope he is found soon
Petsearch told me when Vinnie was first missing that they are often in a hidey hole in the home.
As I said in my reply to Isabeau's post- Vinnie was found only a few houses away- a poster in a petrol station got her home
If he is not home soon- please put flyers up anywhere where people go
Sending catmagic3.gif catmagic3.gif and hoping for a 'he is found' post soon

Letter box drop is done - our street, out to the main road and one street over ( we back onto a creek so no houses behind us) we have doorknocked all the immediate houses near us, I have been to the pet barn early this morning and put a sign on their front counter, ran out of photo paper but going to go drop one up at coles soon.

Inside the house - upstairs is blocked off - no sight nor sound of him - if he was up there he would be howling for food and water by now.

Downstairs - hubby was in the garage for 1.5 hours cleaning up - no sight nor sound of him, all kitchen cupboards, the closet, hutch, fish tank, and the craft cupboard - no sign nor sound of him.behind wall units and tv units have been checked.( more than once and by different people lol)

Hubby is going to go check the lady out the fronts place for me soon - we are on a battleaxe block.

tomorrow I will be ringing all the vets in the area as most are shut today - have rung the RSPCA ( somersby shelter) and he is in their lost book.

House is so quiet without him - he is such a demanding little fellow - when he wants cuddles he wants them and is always purring - he often sleeps on my right side of my chest.

My biggest hope is that hopefully due to his couple of little medical issues that he has someone will take him to a vet - after his enema in April his bottom leaks - but is improving as he gets bigger. He also has a slightly blocked tear duct so one eye weeps a bit.
and just a thought - if he were to be given any cheap cat food biscuits or tinned food it would make his bottom problem terrible too - lol

anyway - here is one of his most recent pictures ( taken on the 5/9) in the flyer I did - did them as 4x6 photographs - just wish you could see his amazing blue eyes

Liz
