Well there is still more to do.. As always!!
We have 2 levels of shelving to be installed, hammocks to go up, complete the solid roof to the front and new scratching posts for everyone but the Da Boyz are in now.
As some of the rescue girls still need monitoring and 2 of them are calling loudly eyebrow.gif we decided to put the studs in these runs..
We still plan to put doors on the front and build a large exercise run onto it so they can take turns to run around but the other cattery needs to be completed first for when the girls are ready to live out there.

On the right is the Old Man's pen.. It will take him a while to get used to the new surroundings but I hope he comes out soon.
Second from right is Ottmar (The Old Man's son).. He is pretty happy about the fresh air and sunshine and has barely moved from that spot since we put him in there.
Then there is Marshall (aka Marshmellow) who is trying to chat up his daughter Muddy in the next pen...
In the pen on the left is Wilbur (Whitebum) my young stud boy. Muddy is with Wilbur at the moment to help him settle in.

Hello,It looks wonderful.I know in time your kittys will love their new surroundings and settle in after a while. When we moved our cats to our new home two years ago, they seemed upset and hid for awhile,it took time for them to get use to something new.It took days for some to come out from under the fruniture/china cabnit.Im from the US,and have noticed that many people here on this site has enclosures that are in cage forms..Is ya'll weather their in Australia warm in the winter months..I only ask this because im from Pa and our weather in the winter can get down below -10 very cold,windy/snow/ice,and my cats would freeze without a heated building..Right now they stay indoors with me,and someday soon we plan to build them their own living quarters(their own home that is heated with all the things they have in our home)also with a large fenced in area to play and be safe from preditors.I do think youve done a great job making your cats happier.nic

Hi Ihave18,
It would rarely get below 0c (32f) here.
The cats all have wooden sleeping beds up off the floor with quilts, donut beds and blankets in them.
Our other cattery has power to it and we have heat pads for the cats in there for winter.
Our summers are more of a concern for me and if we have really hot weather I have enough crates to bring everyone inside during the day.

Sarah
