Hi everybody,

my is midnytegirl, new too the board, i am also concern, and with a question, please advise.

my husband and i have 2 cats, one female siamese, she is mine, sweeetest little thing, and the other is an older male cat about 12 yrs,his name is Smokie he belongs to my husband, and he is also the sweetest little thing.

smokie has been throwing up,almost every other day,on those days,it was all watery, but on saturday,it was a little more serious,he threw up everything that he ate, including the treats that he just eaten. he also let out cry,but on the other days he did not let out a cry. today,he tried to throw up,but he could not, instead he let out a hacking sound, like he wanted to throw up a furball.

now, i am in the process of cleaning the house, and i did the litter, and noticed there were these "fruitflies"? they were all over the litter. now he has eaten those "creepy crawlers" i like to call them, but they look like those very, very "small industrail brooms", or more like centipedes with very long hairy legs, and we get a lot of them, because we live in a basement of a house. now i am worried that Jaidyn the siamese will be effected by this, and i just spent a lot of money on her already when she had a lump on her face. both cats sleep normal, now this will sound gross, his stool is soild,he does not have the runs, but i am sure that will happen,if not soon enough.

by what i have just said, can anyone help me here,i need some advise,i know taken him to the vets will be recommend. helpsmilie.gif

He could have a hairball which he cannot get rid of but as you know, you should take him to the vets. Vomiting can cause dehydration so it is essential that you seek medical advice. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums

As others said, a vet's visit is in order. Sorry to hear your cat is sick, it is so worrisome when our furry friends are not well.
