Hi there,
My name is Rebecca and I am the proud owner of my two gorgeous boys, Beau and Monty (both domestic short haired tabbies). We got Beau from a pet shop when he was 12 weeks old and he is a very independent hunter who loves to catch flies and play. Monty we have had for just over a month now and we got him from a cat shelter in Perth. Monty is very affectionate and loves to give kisses and snuggles. We did have another kitty (before we ahd Monty) named Oscar. Oscar was a beautful blue point ragdoll and was just 7months old when he fell victim to the ferocious killer, Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). We did absolutely everything we could for poor Oscar and made enemy's with every vet because we wouldn't take no for an answer and ordered test and test and test to be absolutely sure that it was in fact FIP. Fortunatly though, in the end, Oscar passed away at home with his Mummy and Daddy giving him lots of hugs and kisses, but I still miss him so, so much each and every day.
We are getting another ragdoll kitten in November and we are very much looking forward to that.
I'm from Canberra but moved to Perth in May to accompany my partner on a posting. I absolutely love cats and would easily be a "crazy cat lady" with a thousand cats if my partner didn't make it quite clear that 3 cats is enough (silly boy just doesn't understand how wonderful cats are!!).
Looking forward to getting to know you all
Cheers
Rebecca

Hello Rebecca and welcome to CW. I am so sorry to hear about losing your precious one to FIP, it is such an awful disease. Can't wait to see pics of your new one when you get it. And you have come to the right place for crazy cat people, we have both CCL (ladies) and CCM (men) here!
