I'm still away often, and this week when I got home, I found several puddles of diarrhoea around the cat litter trays.
I have 4 furbabies, so I was unsure who it was as they all appear to be the same as normal.

I've witnessed the culprit!!!! - this time the poor baby seemed to be having difficulties doing it and it quite clearly contained blood. ..straight afterwards he vomited.
His poo always smells terrible!!! and this is no different.
This little boy is around 7-8 years old, Burmese, a bit over weight and lazy, discluded from the group, and the same boy that totally out of character- attacked me not too long ago.

Should I be overly concerned?? Or could it be just a bug...as we humans sometimes get?

You should definitely be worried and he needs a vet trip ASAP.
None of this is normal and even when humans get gastro, blood is always abnormal and needs to be checked out.

Patricia is right, needs a trip to the vet ASAP - could simply be a bug, but always worth checking it isn't something worse - Our Beau had blood in diarrhoea a few times, but a trip to the vet soon put him right =)

Good luck and keep us posted
