Not sure if anyone can answer this, I think is vet time again. i noticed last night that little Phoenix has a very dry nose its is usually moist/wet she is eating normally and has had a few sneezes. Since she is prone to cat flu (since she was born) I was wondering if this is normal and has anyone else experience this. As I mentioned she is eating normally (and we still have a bowl of water because she is not using the Drinkwell) so she shouldnt be dehyrdrated. Her bums look fine and pink and not sticky or dry.
She hasnt put on any weight is still just under 4kg but has become chubby on her little belly(where the op was). Not sure if its all connected and she is haveing growing spurts.
Any ideas, we have kept her on the lysine too for sniffles

Checking the nose is a myth, it doesn't mean anything. Ears are the best to check if you suspect a fever. Ears are normally cool, but with a fever, they'll be warm. Of course if they are lying in a warm, sunny spot, their ears can be warm too. But most cats with a fever don't feel well, and probably wouldn't be in their favorite warm, sunny spot. Also, if you don't have one, get a digital thermometer and some lubricating jelly, just for your cats. It's very easy to take a cat's temperature. They may not like it, but it will give you peace of mind. Cat's normal temperature is 101-102 degrees F. (sorry, I've forgotten what that is in celsius)
You know your cats best. If you think one of your cats is not acting themselves, somethings just a little off, go to the vet.
