Hi Everyone,

I have been reading posts etc for a little while now to get a hang of the site before I try and do my own post, so here goes.

My name is Karen, 36 years of age and I live in a small town called Sarina Qld which is roughly 35klms south of Mackay in Central Qld. I have been married for 11 wonderful years and have two Birman desexed boys which you can see in my avatar (big sooks). These boys are my babies, very spoilt and can do no wrong in my eyes innocent.gif

We discovered the wonderful breed of Birmans in 2006 when I had to choose either jewellery for xmas or a beautiful birman. Well I guess you know what my decision was rolleyes.gif
Well we were so smitten by this beautiful boy (Dax - seal point) and couldn't stop at one so we went back and got another one (Jay - chocolate point) a couple of months later from the same breeder, they have the same mother but different father. We have owned other cats before but found that we weren't destined to be together but something about these boys just works well.

I think that will do it for now, I'm sure you will here from me again somewhere along the line.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the greetings, it sounds like a great place to chat with people who are all cat lovers. I love everyones avatars and hope to join in on the latest topics etc.

I tried to post some photos of the boys in the photo section of the forum, but seem to be a bit stuck on how to resize the photos in photobucket. I resize them but when they are posted they still stay 160 x 160 pixels. Once I work it out I will put some on the forum.

First of all welcome!

Easiest way to resize the photos in photobucket is to log into your account and click on more options. Which is under the blue upload button and I have outlined it in red in the below picture (click to make bigger).


It will bring up a little pop up. Click on the size large on the left which will make the images 640 x 480 and it will mean you can post them straight away and not need to worry about resizing any of them individually.


And lastly click, save and upload! Also when posting, use the code which says IMG Code smile.gif
