Hi,
I'm here in LA; I have three cats, one boy and two girls. They all were adopted from the street. My male cat has FIV, but thank God it is sleeping. I had been feeding this sad, almost hairless cat when one day he dicided he was going to follow me. I couldn't have him follow me as the traffic is heavy there and I was afraid he would be killed, so, you gussed it, I took him first to the vet and then home, and now Sugar has a beautiful shiney coat, fur on his 14 lb body. He does have allergies to food and fleas so he does need to have special food. I have had him ayear now and do not regret taking him in. He has a very mellow personality.
My other cat was adopted a month later. She lived in a towing garage and again I was afraid for her life so I took her home. She looks and acts like a kitten but is 8 years old now, I have had her a year now also. She also has a wonderful personality.
My third cat who is actually my first is 13 with kidney problems. She is allwhite with blue eyes.
I love them all.
Before I adopted my last two cats, I had 2 of my babies die. I was devistated! I still miss them every day.
To me, heaven would be a place where the people and animals we have loved would be joined together again.
I'm looking forward to hearing from people who love their animals and not ashamed to show it.
