We live in Melbourne and I'm wondering whether any one knows where we can buy Cat Netting. Hubby has all of the stuff to cat proof our back garden, except the netting.

Cat Net. com are rather expensive, and have given us a quote of $400.00.

Thanking you all in advance

Celia

Are you looking for nylon type netting? The following is a place where you can buy the netting by the metre...and sometimes you can get it on e-bay....

Thanks

I have simply bought wire netting from Bunnings.....so can't really recommend and not sure where you get the nylon net on e-bay - but it can be very cheap there - maybe someone will be along soon.

As i understand it netmakers will cut to your size length and width.....worth contacting them. That price sounds a lot.

I bought some of the nylon cat netting off ebay last week...paid $81.99 for a piece measuring 12mts long by 1.8mts high...not sure if that is good or not...but for me a good size for where I want it. I have just checked on ebay and they only have the small strips that you put along the top of your fence...but pieces like mine come on from time to time.

I am sure that they acan post if it is not too expensive. They sell by the linear metre in 5, 10 and 14.2metre widths. When we bought our a few months ago it was $15 a metre it might have gone up by now but it is the netting that they use at the zoo. We are in Perth.

Cheers
Julie
