On sunday morning I got up to a suprise of 6 babies to my first time Mum Georgia, she did a great job. they were a little small but had all put on good weight when I weighed them on monday morning. However when I was looking at them in the afternoon I realised one baby was blue and cold and another was nearly gone as well, I tried my hardest for this bub but I should have just let him slip away peacefully. they had got super cold and hypothermia (sp) had got them.
I cranked up the heat pad and put an extra towel under it and they are all thriving. this weather is making life very hard with it being hot one day and cold the next, I had the matt up higher but George had got hot so I turned it down
Rip sweet Boy and Girl

Today I got a very sad email to say one of the kittens I bred had slipped out the door on Tuesday night and couldnt be found by the daughter (older) Mum actually came home from her night shift at 2 am as she new something was wrong to search for him but couldnt find him in the house. She got back in the car and went to reverse out to find him only one house over, he had been struck by a car and had passed, She did say that it appeared to be quick from the injury but that does not make it any easier for them and the daughter in particular who is blaming herself that she should have looked for longer. they are one of the great owners who have an enclosure as well. They were going to get another Raggie early next year (they got a domestic to keep him company when he went home ) but the daugher doesnt think she could bear the reminder now, I hope oneday they can have the company of a Raggie again
RIP Ozzy, you were very loved

So sad about the little ones, and I bet your owners are also heart broken, hope they don't beat themselves up about it too much, and they let another little one into their lives and hearts

What a terrible thing to happen. I agree with you Hayley, perhaps down the track they can have another raggie - they are a truly beautiful cat.
