It's just me checking in... I haven't been around so much lately as we seem to be going through one of those times where everything seems to go wrong. Anyway, this morning poor Tinkerbelle was pacing around and constantly going back to the litter tray so we were off to the Vet's again with Tink this time.

So now she's been diagnosed with FLUTD and has come home with some Hill's sd dry food as well as medication for pain relief. She still seems to be eating OK and ate some of the sd with no problems so we hope she will settle down. The Vet said it might take a few days but hopefully a change to her diet will work out okay.

Gosh it's such a worry and came on so suddenly.. she seemed completely well yesterday.

I am hoping to get back with some more time to catch up with everyone here very soon.. wub.gif

Poor Tinks. It is such a worry when our furries are unwell. CW magic for her and hugs to you Megan. You have had more than your fair share of anxiety of late.

It's worrying to see them so distressed - Lucy went through this a few weeks back but we got it under control very quickly. Sending catmagic3.gif that Tinks is feeling much better very soon.

Thanks so much everyone smile.gif ... we have had quite a few anxious days recently and I know I got a little bit panicky yesterday morning when I saw that Tinkerbelle wasn't well. It's upsetting to take her to the Vet's too as she's still very frightened by being picked up and held so stress levels are high for us all. Thankfully she does seem much better today.. a little quieter than usual but not scratching constantly in the litter tray.

I think the Vet suggested keeping her on the Hill's s/d for six weeks and then changing to the Hill's c/d depending on how she settles down. I will be back at the Vet's on Friday with Cassie so will ask some more about her future diet then. I'd like to feed her a bit more variety really but she very definitely prefers the dry food.

Again thanks for all your kind thoughts.. flowers.gif
