I have a 2 year old DSH adopted from the cat shelter and am looking to add another kitty to keep him company.
The issue is, I am having big problems trying to settle on a breed -- I love everything!
But to narrow it down, I am torn between a Scottish Fold and a Devon Rex. Having a dog who has joint problems now, I'm afraid that if I get a fold, I may be dealing with arthritis problems later on and it's no fun...I would hate to see him/her suffer, as cute as they are. I have also heard excellent things about their personalities.
On the other hand, I am in love with the affectionate nature of the Devon Rexes. I know they have quite different activity levels, but it really doesn't matter to me because either is fine.
I was browsing through the forum and noticed that Joy has experience with both of these breeds and got excited.
If anyone has any opinions regarding my dilemma, please do share - I've love to hear it all
