Hi Guys,

I thought id say hello! My name is Em & i came across this site on google.

Yesterday i got my first kitten "Harlan" he is white with black markings and very cute, 8 weeks old and healthy.

He is settling in well and eating and using the litter tray.

I would love some advise on the best care for him.

I am at work today and left him in the laundry, it is quiet big and he has his litter tray, bed, food, water, toys and post to play with in there,

He meowed when i shut him in there but im hoping i did the right thing by living him in limited space as i want him to get familiar with the house before i let him have free run.

Please advise smile.gif

Em

Harlam is very cute, and you are doing everything right in confining him into a smaller space with all her toys and 'personal things'. Welcome to the forums!

Hello and welcome to you and your beautiful furbaby! Yes, confining him initially is the right thing, he will sleep most of the day anyway, and soon he will be confident enough to have access to another room as well.

When he has his first vaccination ask the vet about desexing him when he has his second. smile.gif
