Dear Friends,

This is not really a problem, but I just wondered if anyone else has a little fur friend who likes to follow them most places? I love it, but I like to know that Asrai appears often wherever I am because she likes hanging out with me, and not because of boredom or insecurity.

Asrai is a female 5 yr old ginger desexed part Siamese outdoor / indoor cat. She has a another female fur friend but Anjushri tends not to hang out with her.

My boy does that as well, even if he's dead to the world he'll get up to follow me to the loo. He moves from room to room with me, weaving around my feet before hopping up next to me to snooze or just for a cuddle. If my parents are looking for him, they always check with me to see if he's there before checking his other favorite spots.

This is the same as our babies too. Not quite as much now they’re a bit older, but usually they’re with us and if we move somewhere, within a few minutes they’ll appear there too. Especially the toilet. lol

Yep, Sophie follows me just about everywhere - especially the toilet! I've seen her drag herself half-asleep off a comfy chair to follow me into the next room... she must have been horribly disappointed to find out I was just getting a cup of tea...

Yes, the toilet does seem to hold special appeal to our furry friends. I’ve had both my boys fast asleep when I’ve snuck off to the toilet (door open) and the next second, they’re both in there. LMAO.

Hi Monty,

Yes the toilet does hold special appeal. I have seen them have to check the toilet bowl after I flush lol. They stick their whole bodies in there. The fascination with the water whooshing. 5 years and they still occasionally have to check wink_3.gif

Asrai has food to graze on all day so I don't think she follows me around in reference to food, but she loves hanging out. That's one of the reasons it was so incredibly hard when I lost my last little fur friend Zama. He hung out with me 24/7, I do a lot of work at home. I felt like someone had cut me off at the knees when he passed. I miss him terribly.

Whenever we flush the boys' poo away down the toilet, they have to check, especially Dweezil. He stands on his hind legs and peers over the side, both paws on the seat and head down in the toilet. We have to gently remove his paws from the seat so we can put the lid down once it's flushed. lol

oh that would be bliss, being followed by one furbaby

but I'm usually followed by minimum three, maximum six, normally two dogs and Violet Cat with often Zinnia Cat there as well.

only this morning I was telling my friend how I was multitasking icon_lol.gif and she yelled TMI! I was telling her that I was at the loo but I was patting Onslow my 46 kg golden retriever and Zinnia at the same time as they had wandered in too!

flowers.gif flowers.gif My girl Xena(RIP) was also a part Siamese tabby/tortie and from day 1 as a tiny kitten she wanted to be with me most of the time. She used to folllow me also around in a dog like fashion-I think she just wanted to be with me. Even when sleeping she would like to be close to me and know I was near. She always came downstairs with me for a walk when I did washing etc and came back upstairs with me when it was done.

One of my three is like that... certainly a mummy's boy! None of my three mix very much (even though the boys are littermates) so he has no preference for feline company. It's sweet, but at times it's also annoying - he doesn't just follow, he likes to be attached!

My male orange tabby follows me everywhere, sleeps with me every night with his head on my pillow! The bathroom also holds a facination for both of my kitties, I have to let them in with me or they will scratch and cry at the door. The love to drink from the faucet in the sink. My tabby stays when I shower and sits on the toilet and waits for me to get done. My female leaves as soon as I turn the shower on.
