Rainbow bridge.gif I found this on a pet loss website and thought it might be comforting to those of you who have lost little precious ones recently and who are grieving for them, like me

candle.gif candle.gif In The Candle's Glow by Laura Hickman

Warm light coming from far below,
Twinkling, sparkling is the candle's glow,
All is well up on the ridge,
The place we know as Rainbow Bridge.
wub.gif
Fur babies sleeping in heaven's light,
Tended by candles in the night,
Peaceful dreams be theirs to keep,
As they slumber in this night so deep.
wub.gif
Hearts on earth that miss them so,
Take comfort in the candle's glow,
Watching for them in skies above,
Bound eternally by a cord of love.

Sending each and everyone with a heavy heart hugs and blessings today as we remember our little ones
Chris

That is just lovely...
Grief has to be expressed and I know many cannot find the words.

It brought back memories of my darling Missy - whom we lost in February.

I also posted in Cat Chat Rod McKeuen reading his wonderful poem A cat named Sloopy which also always chokes me up.
Thanks for posting this

That is beautiful. A bit too raw for me today, it made me cry. But just beautiful.

That is beautiful.

Thanks Chris for sharing it.

Thinking of your special girl, Xena. Hoping she has met up with my Rocky and other furries passed.

bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml Hugs to all of you tonight who need it. Kirty I too cried buckets when I found this poem, but I felt better knowing the precious little ones are safe and secure on the Rainbow Bridge watched over by angel guardians and loved ones. I feel that Xena is being looked after by my Mum who adored animals and I think she will have met your Rocky Sue-I think she would be having a wonderful time up there. I feel her presence around very strongly especially at night. Our furries will always be in our hearts- kitty.gif I was priviledged to have a very special little one for so long.

Yep Rocky is looking after for your girl I am sure. bearhug.sml

Again, that poem sums up how we all feel. They are never forgotten.
