About 7.30pm I noticed that Woody was trying to do a wee constantly but nothing came out. This happened repeatedly so 2 hours later, and after careful examination of the litter tray, I decided to take him to the vet. Thankfully my vet is available after hours so was able to see him immediately.

Given that Woody has been stressed out because of moving house (it has taken him 6 weeks to settle) and then he had the stress of so many tradesman coming and going as well as a temporary house guest (he doesn't like people other than immediate family), I was thinking the worse - FUS.

Thankfully though my vet believes it is a UTI and has given him an injection of antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory and he is spending the night there hoping to get a wee sample (under the watchful eye of a lovely vet nurse who will spend the entire night at the surgery). He has a temp but is not off his food and was otherwise behaving normally (he is a total smooch). Hopefully he will eat the wet food they offer him tonight too.

Please send Woody (boy in my avatar) lots of CW magic flowers.gif

Thanks for the CW Magic for my boy. I am still waiting for the vet to call me back to know how he is going this morning. If it is just a UTI I will be very happy, as it is easy to treat.

The house seems so empty without my little bed bug. I am missing him like crazy.

Please keep the CW magic coming for him.

Is he at applecross? They are not great at updates on sundays but if you call them they will let you know how he is doing. I hope he is all better and can come home. Hugs!!!
