We have a small balcony and my cat loves to go out there but I really want to net it off. The drop wouldn't kill him but it might hurt and he might get lost as well. we have a brick wall that comes up about waist high and then there is a metal ar running across the top. I want to net behind tha bar so that Zanzi can still jump on the wall and look outside. The problem is attatching the netting, is there anything that we can use without damaging the walls?

Cheers

If you contact Australian Netmakers I think you will find they sell special fasteners that can be drilled into the brick....if not I am sure they can advise....and also cut the net to size. Being black it is almost invisible.

I picked some up on ebay, 16 metres x 2metres wide to enclose our front verandah /balcony - some bargains on there if you keep an eye out.

You can try www.catnets.com.au their netting is also black and quite affordable. They have DIY components too.

If you can't drill into the brickwork whatsoever you might be able to use a producy called brickgrip but I havent used it myself.

MY netting came and I am off to Bunnings in the morning to see what they recommend for attaching to the brickwork. Zafira will be really happy, she's been escaping onto it for the last few weeks every chance she gets!
