My seven year old female moggie, Echo lives indoors and loves her cat grass. We live in a flat and there is a big pot of it on the balcony. She is a long hair and regularly throws up furballs after having a munch on the grass.....but now I'm wondering, how much is too much? She seems to be addicted to it, munching constantly and this morning threw up so violently there was a small amount of blood (she's fine, eating normally).............so, how much is too much cat grass? Should I be limiting her access to it?

I'd appreciate any advice animal47.gif

cheers

I've no idea.. but I let Meggs eat as much cat grass as she wants - it's on the window sill but she would only eat it when I leave it down. Once I left the cat grass on the ground and when I got home, she welcomed me home with 3 balls of vomited hair balls on the floor.

Thanx soulshine bye1.gif

Meggs doesn't seem addicted if she is content to leave it until it's accessable. I've put it out of Echo's reach for a few days, but the poor darling still races out to the balcony in the morning looking for it.......she's fine! I've looked around the web for info on catgrass health issues but there isn't anything

cheers
