To post images, click in the IMG box, then insert your url. If you are with a free webhost such as Geocities, Snapfish, your image may not work on these boards. A lot of hosts don't permit remote linking. Which means you can show your images on a webpage, but you can't show the image by itself.
If you are having problems posting images there are two solutions.
1) Contact your ISP (internet service provider), and ask them if they give you webspace with your internet package. You will find most ISP's do provide you with some webspace.
2) Find a cheap webhost, prices start from as low as $2.00 per month.
Please do not post images larger than 600 x 600 pixels on these forums.
How Do I Resize Images
Images can be resized with most photo/image editing software such as Paint Shop Pro. If you don't have such a programme on your computer you can go to the following site & re-size your images there.

Adding a Link
Click on the "http://" button. Paste the link into the box & hit OK, then paste in your text, hit OK again.
Changing username
If you wish to change your username please send a PM to one of the administrators (Julia, Rambo or sealhope) & we will change it for you. Please remember to send us your choice of name change.

Adding a Signature Image
Your signature image must be uploaded somewhere onto the net. There are free webhosts on the net, most people use Photobucket (www.photobucket.com). Please ensure your signature meets our signature guidelines for size (350 x 200 pixels).
Once your image has been uploaded, click on 'My Controls' which is close to the top of the forum, then click on 'edit signature' (found to the left hand screen), then click on this icon
& a box will appear. Type the url of your signature image into the box & then hit OK, then hit 'update my signature'.Avatars
An avatar is the image under your username, to add or update one do the following...Click on 'My Controls' towards the top of the forum, then click on 'edit avatar settings' (found on the left hand screen). You can either paste the URL of an image you have saved on the web or you can browse images on your own computer. If you would like to use an image from your computer select 'Upload a new image from your computer' & then select 'browse'. Find the image on your computer & then select 'open'. Once this is done select 'update my avatar'.
Avatar images must be 150 x 150 pixels or smaller. If they are larger than this you won't be able to add your avatar.
