Just thought for those who have not seen it you might like to browse the Science Diet Care Booklet that is on line -it is American publication but some of the info is quite good....44 pages. It covers a lot of behavioural issues and understanding them as well as dealing with them.

Can you believe its taken me this long. This is a great little book. Liked the developmental chart for ages and stages as it had a little bit more detail and the cat body language picture scale from calm to extreme is rather interesting. I may have to take up the suggestion of playing vet with my kitty according to the little instructions on how to have happy(happier) vet visits.

Well they do the rundown of getting cats to accept vet handling by familiarising them with ear checks etc and a rundown of that. I might try the whole halving the cat carrier method to see how practical it is. Thankyou Heather, its a nifty thing to have on hand.
