Sara, good resources. May I add some information as well for people living in Melbourne?
There is a Companion Animal Support Group which is run by the Australian Centre for Grief and Beareavement, in partnership with the RSPCA. I have been co-faciliating this group over the past few months.
Details here http://www.grief.org...imal%20Loss.pdf
More information about the Australian Centre for Grief and Beareavement here http://www.grief.org.au/ including the bearvement counselling service.

Hi everyone,
As you all know I am still grieving for my baby Ellie, but I would like to thank this site and its members as they have really made me feel loved. Their support is amazing. Thank you for this wonderful website.
I would also like people to go to
www.petloss.com
and I just cannot thank enough www.petcrem.com.au for the way they looked after my baby Ellie. They were so respectful and listened to my needs and wishes.
and I would also like to thank www.badabingjewellery.com.au for their phone support and caring card and gift I received when I purchased my cremation locket.
Thank you everyone again for your wonderful support during this really hard time.
