Heya, just thought I'd see how everyones been getting on with the rains. I'm in Brum so we've ben hit pretty hard, half of Brum is flooded and we've got several roads and railways closed off and we're still on flood warning! If you go down my road half the TV ariels are wonky or missing and roof slates have been cast off from quite a few houses as well.

Anyway aside from the property damage we're dong fairly well up here. just wondering how everyone else was getting on. Is everyone and their kitties safe and sound?

Anyone in Hertfordshire? i heard thats been hit the worst.

Not too bad where we are but the river down this way has burst it's banks and a few of our friends have lost their gardens, which are hidden under quite a bit of water. The A5 has been blocked off in places and a lot of people have had to spend the night in their cars,or so i heard on the radio going to and from canterbury.

I saw on the telly this morning..so many people without water and electricity ...not at all good ...and talking of trying to block the Thames to reduce tidal flooding.

My parents are lucky as they have a real fire in their house so they can keep warm and keep their kitties warm too

I've been thinking of you all - hope some normality arises soon and that the waters disappear.....the big clean up to follow must be horrendous.....keep your chins up.....it will end eventually.
