I have a home sick grandfather on my hands each Christmas and this year I got him for secret santa so I want to put together a nice hamper for him.

Iv found somewhere close that sells Pork pies so I will venture down there and grab some of them for him.
And we get Mr Kippling bakewell tarts here as well so I will get some of them too

What else can I add?

I really like the look of Here They seem to have a lot and for a pretty decent price.

If you were a home sick Britt what would you like in your hamper?

Thanks in advance

There are a couple of stores here in Sydney, one of them sells Persil washing powder, which I found hilarious, I mean I didn't exactly find myself in London saying "man I wish I could get some Dynamo"!

Anyway, try this place - http://www.atasteofh...om.au/index.php

I would suggest Jaffa Cakes, mince pies, and maybe it's just me but Terry's Chocolate oranges are just the best.

Also Bourbon Cream biscuits, Lilt soft drink, Ploughman's pickle relish, Hellman's mayonnaise.

ok I'm hungry now.

yes, very nice, but unfortunately named as i don't believe there is any (or not enough to notice) actual bourbon in them. They are kinda like our Creamy Chocolate bikkies.

David Jones here in Perth sells Yorkshire, Harrogate and Fortnum and Mason Teas, maybe put some Scottish Shortbread in the hamper too? Some British shops have a wide range of stuff such as tins of mushy peas, sage & onion stuffing as well as lollies. Hope that helps.

David Jones, of course, Thanks Helen I may have to go for a trip into the city and have a look at what they have in Brisbane.

If not I am going to the Pie shop tomorrow and they sell groceries too and I have made a list from the place in perth to chat to my nana about today while he is out in the garden wink_3.gif
