Well in Nottinghamshire we have had rain, sleet and very high winds most of the day! Craziness!

Yuk - bet there are some UK residents thinking of Australia now....oh wait a minute Queensland has floods,Sydney has had bad storms - several in a row.......and.....

Tell you what keep the kids home tomorrow if this weather continues regardless - far too dangerous.

High winds in the North East and to get even higher by tommorow, and colder, does not seem possible.
Blackbirds have laid some eggs outside of a hospital, little shoots are springing up, everything seems so confused.

Well the Blackbirds would do that wouldn't they - silly birds.....but weather is very definitely mixed up all over the world. I have a friend going to India and where she is going it is always beautiful weather at this time of the year but a message has been sent to take very warm clothing as they are experiencing an unseasonal cold snap.

Where did that wave hit the ferry? Just off Blackpool? Sounds like nasty weather indeed...

It was on our evening news that a 7m wave hit a ferry, the cars all went to one side which made the ferry list. Passengers and some crew were airlifted off but some crew have been left to try and stabilize the craft. There are concerns about it breaking up...

There you go - nowhere near Blackpool - must get my ears fixed. On the way to Ireland from Liverpool ...

And again, my resolution this year was to trust my instincts....

This story tells me that it was just off Blackpool, I was right the first time!

Pretty cold down here in the south east, supposed to be getting snow tonight, winds have been high but not as high as most up the country.
