I'm just curious, Jasmine is a Messy eater (Not sure if all kittens are lol) and every few days she'll get a build up of stuff on the inside of her nostrals It's not from a runny nose and she seems pretty healthy so I belive she's getting it from her food...is there a way to prevent it? It's pretty easy to clean so I don't have problems with that..and it's not wet it's dry

She must be snorting her food!! LOL

Seriously, make sure it is not mucus and if it is, it may be a touch of cat flu.

It's not mucus it's dry, I think when she'll drink before she eats a lot of times and hasn't figured out where the waterline is and accidently dunks her nose in it then when she eats bits of it will get stuck on her nose

Some kittens just can't keep their nostrils at a decent distance from their food and go and snort their food. Hopefully she will grow out of it. It is easily cleaned with a moist cloth/tissue.

Some cats get a build up in the nostrels and I usually just flick it out carefully with the corner of my nail.

Lilly gets that. I don't think it's her food, I just clean it myself.

Orlando gets this on an odd occasion. I just use my nail too. Just thinking about it, he hasn't had it for a quite so maybe it is something they grow out of. Orlando is going on 5 months old.
