Hi Everyone,
We've just discovered this site. Brilliant!
On Monday, 11th of August we lost Harlequin in Waterloo, N.S.W., on Beaumont St., parallel to Elizabeth St..
He is a short hair, black and white desexed male with a microchip. He is registered with Sydney City Council.
He is nervous around strangers so may be hard to approach.
We are offering a reward for his safe return.
We can be contacted on 0418970638 or 96980777.
Please let us know if you want any photos of Harlequin.
Thank you all in advance for your generous help.

Try going out late at night when it is quiet.
If he is nervous he may come out of his hiding spot when there is not as much comotion.
Don't give up, sometimes if he gets hungry enough he will appear.
Also ring ALL the vets and put up posters, he may be in someones garage.
Lots of luck in finding your boy

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Neither of us has slept well this week and your words have given us renewed
energy.
Thank you so much for caring (and we'll take your advice).
Regards,
Liam and Karen

And don't forgt the RSPCAs (http://www.rspcansw.org.au/),
there is a Cat Protection place somewhere not too far out in the suburbs (http://www.catprotection.org.au/),
ask the neighbours.
Maybe a post on Sydney freecycle (http://www.freecycle.org/). Is there a loca free newspaper, ask them would they feature a pics and short story. Local clubs and pubs might put up a flyer, colour photo if you can manage it.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. You have given us more hope and strength.
We have enlisted the help of Pet Search (www.petsearch.com.au) who helped us design a poster and are distributing it to vets, pet shops etc. on our behalf.
We are going out tonight with a torch and a box of biscuits!
We'll keep you posted.

We found him!
He was about 3 streets away and hiding in a back garden.
We were out following CatsRU's advice and rattling biscuits and he called to us!
Thank you so much to all of you for your support. It was because of you that we didn't give up.
We are now regulars to Cat World!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Liam & Karen
