My cat Millie has been lost since 6th November 2008 in the St Clair area.

Our Cat Millie is missing. She is around 2-3 years old and is microchipped. She was last seen in Aldan Place on the 6th of November. Please, can you check your backyards/sheds/garages in case you may have locked her inside by accident. She may also be in gardens or hidey-hole places cats would go. You help is kindly appreciated. If you do find her, please let us know on 96706770. Thank you

Ring your local council to make sure she is not in the pound. Cats don't get long at the pound as there are sooooo many there . the pound is not always a place we think to look (I know I always used to associate it with dogs ).

Lots of luck!!!!

Carolyn

Are her microchip details up to date? Do you have her paperwork for the microchip registration on hand or does your vet clinic have Millie's microchip number on file? If so, you can call the database and get the details checked and updated if necessary.

Would the pound check for the microchip?

We have the details, mum has been to the council when we got her, which was 2 years ago and registered Millie.

Go out now like at night and shake the biccie tin and softly call her name.

She may be stressed or even hurt and is hiding. Please keep this up. We have had good results over days with this.

We have been doing that too, also in drains etc where she may have gone down but gotten stuck.

You need to do it now when it is quite and she is feeling a bit safer. Go out now not through the day. Talk softly calling her name.

And check RSPCA, cat Protection Society (http://www.catprotection.org.au/merchandise.php); ask round at schools, old foks haiomes, clubs etc - anywahere people gather. Non working people have a lotof tim when they just might see her. Older people are often living aloe and notice things like this at times you are not around. Good luck, fingers crossed for you.

Hi, you've been given some great advice already and you seem to be doing all the right things to find your Millie. You say you have been 'posting' your ad around - are you putting flyers up and/or letter-box dropping? That would be my advice .... put posters/flyers up on poles on every street corner, local shops and vets, etc., and print as many as you can and drop them in letter-boxes ... and don't just stick to your immediate 'block', it's amazing how far cats can wander when they're scared and alone! Try to cover quite a large area ... three or four blocks .....
Also, put BH, Ah and mobile phone numbers, and offer a reward (don't say how much, just that there is one).
Believe me there are kind and observant people out there - if you get her photo and details 'out there', chances are, someone will spot her and be in touch ....
Keep up the walking around your area and calling for her too .... a familiar voice could be all it takes to bring her out of hiding.
All the best in your search and I have everything crossed that she will be home safe and well soon.
Regards,
Nadine

Hi Nadine,

Thanks for the advice, we have put around 80 signs up on poles, and talked to all the people in the street, but we will do the letter box drops in several streets near ours. Its just finding the time outside of work...

Dont give up.

On CW we had a stud boy go AWOL in Qld recently and low and behold he is now safely home.
We are all hoping for a reunion soon.
