Our gorgeous little 5 month old Brown Burmese kitten escaped through a small gap in our window on the night of Sunday 9th November in the Brunswick (Melbourne) area (specifically Fifth Avenue/Moreland Rd) and he hasn't come back yet. He is an indoor cat who hasn't really had any exposure to the big bad world. We miss him dearly! If anyone has seen or heard about a little Burmese found in Brunswick, we'd sure love to hear about it. We've done flyers in letterboxes, Local paper ads, Herald/Sun ads, door knocked, checked garages etc etc etc. The local community has been wonderful helping us, but to no avail. I'm beginning to fear he's been cat-knapped!!!
We are offering a substantial reward for his return.
Here's hoping.
thankyou.

Thankyou both for your help. We have printed off so many flyers I've run out of ink!!! And we have certainly phoned around all the places you suggested.
Oh, and he is microchipped, and i've checked up the details.
Still waiting patiently and hoping for the best...

Don't despair, last winter my devon rex girl was missing in the cold and wet for the best part of the week. I doorknocked, dropped flyers and gradually extended the boundaries..I also contacted the Senior Citzs club in our town with a flyer and one of them had seen her on her back verandah ..but my girl just bolted each time. I saw her but she was too scared to come to me, I ended up borrowing a trap from our local vet.
I'd go out morning and evening, shaking, calling ,then wait and listen..I'm sure he's not far away.

This tiny weeny little 6 month old monkey who we thought would have no chance of surving after 6 nights away was found by a couple in their garden the next street across. Thanks to our ridiculous mamoth mail drop - they contacted us straight away.
I have been so incredibly depressed and miserable, but I just kept reading the sucess stories on this forum, and it pushed to not give up.
THIS FORUM MADE A DIFFERENCE and eveyone hear has helped find our little lost son!!!!!!
I met Djinn Djnn's grandfather today, the impressive regal Cato Choco Chino who has fathered hundreds of stunning burmese - so maybe he sent out some vibes our way.
Anyway Djinn Djinn is asleep on my lap after hours and hours of intense purring, rubbing his head furiously against mine and would you believe kissing me.
Will post more tomorrow. I have uploaded a photo of him (looking like a silly monkey) and an emotional me (note mascara lines from crying hysterically with joy). He is in suprising good health.
its good to have you home Mr Djinn Djinn
