Our 15 Month old Bengal cat went missing on Wednesday 19/11/08. He is an amazing brown spotted male (desexed) with a very loving temperament characterised by long and enormous meow call.
Tiger was a gift for our 5yo daughter and had become a very loved part of our family. We took him on holidays and he would come fishing on the lake with us and follow us like a dog on our walks each day. The whole neighbourhood knew him by watching him running behind us like a young puppy.
If you live in the Berowra, NSW area and have come across a lost Bengal (or know someone that has) please let me know via the forum. We really miss our best pal.
Kind Regards

Thanks for the tips on finding our cat.
We did a telegraph post poster run in the area and will put an ad in the local papers. Fortunately he is micro-chipped so if he gets a "cat-scan" it should flag in the system.
He's an F7 Bengal so he's a handful and demands endless attention. If he has been taken, his new owners will probably be considering moving him on unless they have some Bengal experience (or great tolerance) .
We live in hope !

GOOD LUCK!!
We went through this terrible ordeal a few weeks back - but amazingly after 6 days he finally returned!!! I found it very valuable both for ideas and moral to read the other lost and founds - a lot of cats come back!!!!
Please feel free to read the thread about my kitten Djin Djinn and also I did a bit post when another cat called Jubey went missing.
Remember statistically your cat is only a maxium of 7 houses away.
Love Sheridan
PS He sounds like a little ripper of a cat by the way.

Unfortunately all our efforts to locate poor Tiger have failed (Now missing 11 days). I guess the hardest part is not knowing what happened to him. He was either stolen, wandered off too far and became lost or met an unforunate end. I guess we will probably never know...! He will be greatly missed by all of us, especially my young 5yo daughter. We have had several cats over the years but none like this guy. He was more like a dog and we all miss the bush-walks and taking him on our holidays where he would go fishing on the lake with us. He was such a gentle cat, and was so good with young children.
A very sad outcome.....!
Thany-you everone who responded with ideas, information and sentiments. It was much appreciated.

Tiges
Don't give up hope
The cat in my avatar was missing for nearly 6 weeks from her last home- and she is a little one-eyed persian.
If she can survive out there- your cat can.
Her friend-(lost at the same time) a Himalayan Peraian was missing for over 3 months- there are lots of good news stories out there
Keep hoping and putting up posters, ringing the shelters- and all the other things suggested here.
Hoping you get that wonderful phone call soon.
Again- never give up- and hoping for a he is home post

I know you think you've tried everything possible and are nearing the end of your tether, but believe me, miracles can happen! Please do not give up ... my girl was missing for 43 days ... I struggled so hard, day in and day out, to find her, walking the streets every night, placing and re-placing posters every day. There were many days when I thought I couldn't go on and that I'd lost her forever ... but, I never gave up - I couldn't ...
The 'not knowing' is the hardest thing ... I felt if I knew for sure that she was no longer alive, I could deal with it .... but, while I didn't know for sure ... I couldn't give up on her .... and the support I received from my CW family kept me going ... my eyes are welling up now even as I think about it .... I so feel your sorrow ...
Please keep up with the posters - everywhere you can possibly put them - do so - it was a kind soul who saw my poster and responded that brought my girl back to me!Sending heaps of positive thoughts to you and praying that your boy will be returned to you,
Regards,
Nadine
