I'm so sorry to hear your boy is missing. I hope he returns home safe and well soon. I see you have posted on a few websites - good idea. Also, check out some of the other 'lost and found' ideas on CW. Letter-box drops and posters (plastered wherever you can put them) are excellent, door-knocking the area with a photo, vets in surrounding areas and, of course, local pounds and shelters.
Good luck and best wishes.

I'm in Narre Warren South, what street was he lost in/around? PM me if you like. I'll keep my eyes open for him. If I can do anything to help, just ask.

Wow! I am overcome by the incredible support expressed here! Cooper went missing during the night of 18/11 from Harold Keys Drive, Narre Warren South, which is off Shrives Road, not far from where it joins Pound Road.

I have put ads in the papers, contacted local vets, been to all the animal shelters, and going again tomorrow. I also made about 400 flyers and put one in every letter box in my estate. Additionally I have put flyers in shops, servos, on poles, on any noticeboard I could find.

I guess a young man just got wanderlust. My remaining cat, Max, is distraught as they grew up together. It's really heartbreaking to watch him as he goes around looking for Cooper...

I only hope that the reward will persuade someone who might otherwise choose to keep him. He's too good looking for his own good.

I feel your anguish at having Cooper gone wandering. We too are going through the same thing at present. Only difference is our missing kitten is only a wee bub. Hope Cooper turns up really soon.We are at Hampton Park so will keep and eye out on the notice board at the local shops.

This little bub is a kitten I bred and he has gone to Albury to live.He only left home on the weekend but the little bugger made a bee line out the door and hasn't been seen since. He has us all absolutely frantic. He is a little creme point Ragdoll baby.I sure hope he is found soon I am really worried for his wellbeing he will be so terrified. There is a thread on CW about him and everything people are trying to do to find him. His name is Ty and his new mum is Alysia.

Morgan, thanks for the extra info, I'll keep my eyes peeled. I wonder if he's wandered into someone's house, and they don't know how to find his owner yet, I hope so.

They're a worry aren't they.

Welcome Cooperblue, wish we were meeting you under better circs.

I bet he's at someone's house.

Have you taken flyers to local schools, esp primary? Kids have sharp eyes and free time. The reward will help make them sharper and more observant.

Schools are a good idea. My neighbor is a primary school teacher and I'll ask her if she can put some up at her school. My other neighbor has wee kids and she has said she will put some up at their school. Thanks for the suggestion.
