Lilly does the same as what she does in side the house... Not much except rolling around on the floor.

Hoepfully can get a cat door from the bedroom installedthis week. Jackie hasn't been out yet because he's too fidgety to get out to the enclosure.

I can do some close ups of the joins and edges if you like...

That is fantastic. You have done a great job with your enclosure and I am sure your cats will love it. We must be on the same wave length as I have just posted wanting to know where to get the netting from.

I will go out tomorrow and take some close up pics of parts of it.

The best part is that it didn't cost much! Though I have cursed at it more than a handful of times. wink_3.gif

I saw those black metal angle iron poles with holes at bunnings and thought they would be good to use but couldnt work out how. Now I know! The way you have laced the mesh to it is fantastic. Where did you get the zip from?

I bought the netting and zipper from www.catnets.com.au. Was a bargain.

The only bits we bought new were the main three poles, the netting, angled metal for wall and some screws and bolts and bits.
All the other wood, pavers, some screws we already had in the house, so ended up only costing us a few hundred dollars to make.

The zipper door.... Cable ties are fab for securing netting. UV resistant ones! A couple of dyna bolts secures these metal rods to the brick wall.

We didn't have to put concrete in the ground to secure the poles. The just screw into the soil. The wooden poles to joist hangers on the edge of the roof keep everything sturdy and straight. Used staples to secure the netting to the wooden poles running along the ground. They are SUCH a pain to hammer in.

Roof poles and joists on the roof line. The side view. Made up some shelves and a tall platform out of bits of wood and carpet in the shed. Will add some more furniture soon. Like a hammock or two and a big chunk of rope hanging down from the roof for Neko to play on.

Looks fantastic Kym! Well done you guys. Lucy says to tell Lily she COMPLETLY understands the wonders of rolling on cement. That is pretty much all Lucy does as well and if there is a bit of sand on the cement - wellll you should see that girl roll! She even rubs it over her face LOL!

Will show these pics to OH, for inspiration. I'm hoping we can extend our enclosure but will have to wait and see how everythign works in the new house.
