I am from Vancouver, British Columbia, and I was wondering if anybody knows if there are any Maine Coon cat breeders in the Vancouver area or the Lower Mainland.
Does anybody know where I can find them?

Thanks for the link. I checked it out. So far, can only find breeders in Ontario (Canada's eastern province).
Anybody know of any in the Western provinces?

I'd try emailing one of those in the eastern province and ask them for a referral to someone closer to home. It would probably be more fruitful than an Australian cat forum.<G>

I've seen several coonies on petfinder recently in the area (I'm about an hour south of you). There's

Missy, a persian-coonie mix and
Mitzy, a gorgeous coonie mix in Burlington, WA
Dusty, a beautiful silver-tipped coonie mix in Arlington, WA
Tang, an orange persian-coonie mix in Saanichton, BC
Persephone, coonie-lishiousness mix in Richmond, BC
Chili, a coonie mix in Vancouver, BC
Marley, a baby coonie in Seattle, WA

and so, so many others.
There is also a Maine Coon rescue group with purebred coonies in the Pacific Northwest.

Welcome to the forums. Sorry I don't know of any breeders in the area. Sometimes I have googled for breeders across the country just to find out about different breeds and have not found too many listings. Good luck in your search!
