Hi All,
It seems the tom that was around asking for snuggles and food is still around and infact... i have the OPPOSITE problem to the one with Poker. This cat jumps IN the windows. He's a lovely man, probably some kind of siamese/burmese cross because he has that distinctly long and sleek appearance. He is white with black/tabby patches.

Vocal, snuggly but very jumpy. He is most likely someone's abandoned kitten, as he clearly craves human attention. He has a flee problem. If anyone wants him he will be at the Concord West Animal hospital, because i think it is right to turn him in.

I guess i'm trading a stray for my boy back, and sure is a strong case of Karma.

I would shelter this sweet little man, but having JUST got poker back i think it would be a BAD idea.

Well the cat escaped after a massive debarcle with/from the local council. Not very impressed and not good for the poor kitty.

He escaped from the pound guy before he could get him into the cage. I had tried to get the local vet to take him but they refused (despite holding Poker for me??). definately will be making a trip to Rhyde before going back to THAT vet.

Holding onto a desexed Birman versus an entire moggie is a totally different thing. Stray entire males are almost never someones pet. I think the vet was being practical and that he would be best at a shelter where he has a chance at being desexed and rehomed. I wouldnt be angry at the vet.

Common sense says you carry the cage with cat inside into the pen, close the pen door and THEN let the cat out. Deary deary me!
