Hi Friends,

My son Joshua wants to make a donation of a personal kind to help a poor child or children that have suffered by these terrible fires,
I told him of how I did it when I was his age (12) to help a child after Cyclone Tracy,

He wants to gather together as many toys and clothes that he has to give to a child to help them through there loss,

He has many toys appropriate for a boy of age approx 8 and upwards,he has kept them all as he is a collector and keeps everthing like new,

He has many items of clothing like new and some mighty cute I might add,

Boys clothing will suit a little boy size 7 to 8 for ages 9 to 12 depending on the boy,

He also has DVDs and videos that a little boy or girl would enjoy but most of his toys are boy toys,

All quality and clean items,

Joshua would be delighted to know a little boy who may have lost all of his toys and clothes could have some of his pain eased by his gift,

He also has some things that would be enjoyed by a little girl too but not as many of course,

If you have a child or grandchild or a friend with a child whos day could be brightenned up by Joshuas gift please post here or PM me,

We will package them up and personally send them direct to wherever the destination may be,

Regards,Paul

My apologies for not replying when I first read this but this broke me. Can barely see to type through my tears.

A beautiful gesture from a beautiful soul.

In thinking I have realized that I probably posted this too early as the needed would still be so devistated and not able to even think straight at the moment so I will bump this thread once things settle a little,

Joshua is putting his package together as we speak,

I am very proud of my boy yes.gif

Hugs, Paul

What a wonderful, caring family. I feel sure that the recipient will be touched by your thoughtfulness. There is so much sadness over here at the moment. Almost everyone I speak to knows of someone who has experienced devastation. I am worried about Beechworth area. We live close and I taught at the Secondary School there for 2.5 years. I know many people who will be having anxious times as I write.

Joshua is a fine young man, indeed.
