My local Petstock is having a members night tonight and tomorrow which means 20% off all premium foods. I usually do a big shop for my own needs, but I'm going to buy some to donate.
I know the Governing Council is taking collections at Pet Expo, so that would cover the cat food.
Does anyone have any ideas if there will be a similar thing for donations for dogs at Expo?
If anyone here's of Evacuation Centres in need please let me know.

If anyone knows of other items that are needed urgently please let me know.

I spoke with Cheryl U'ren this morning and she mentioned good quality second hand towels, bedding and blankets are needed for animals..
Also crates and wire pens for animals that are coming out of surgery..

Possibly some kind of shelter?? Many injured animals are out in the open after surgery

I'll be sending down towels, blankets and sheets from the Sydney collection. It just occurred to me that our local Coles has plenty of discontinued tins of cat food on sale at less than half price, I might go on Friday when all profits go to the Bushfire Victims and buy up some of those lines. I noticed way up high on the shelves above the cat food are some of the old tins of Dine in the old cans, sold in boxes of 12, and they are about half price as well.
