Hi everyone. I'm from Missouri and brand new to CW. I have a mixed breed long hair cat which is a year and a half old. I rescued her from an abusive family when she was still a baby and it's like she never forgets it because she's so loving. I have a couple pictures of her but haven't figured out the forum yet.
I read some of the posts before writing and you all sound wonderful. I can't wait to get to know everyone here.

We've a few members who live in the US, we're mostly Australian's and are a bit subdued at the moment from the tragedy in Victoria... I'm sure they'll stop by to say hi as we go along.
Would love to see your furry - lots of long haired lovers on this forum. Photos aren't too hard, you'll need to use photobucket or another picture hosting site.

Thanks Doreen and Sherridin! I've been reading and clicking everywhere but I will give a hollar if I need more help. I'm glad I opened a photobucket account recently and will be messing with it shortly.
I hadn't realized that this is a mostly Australian forum and just read about what's been going on there. I am so sorry to hear it and sure hope that everyone is alright. I'll be praying for all ...

We have members from all over the world, and as cat lovers we are united, the only little difficulties come when someone asks for a recommendation of a cleaning product and we respond with what is available in our supermarkets and you haven't a clue what we're talking about. Other than that we all bleed the same blood when our kitties accidentally scratch us, and our cats all seem to speak the same language, so don't feel intimidated by our accents.
