[Smokey's Mom]

Although I haven't been on a while, I feel like so many of you from Australia were there for me in my time of need and I would like to extend my care and concern for the many of you who are going through all of the devistation from the fires in your country. I'm not real familiar with the areas that many of you are from, but I'm sure the impact, if only distant, is troublesome to you at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you that I have and have not met in Cat World at this time. My hope is that the fires soon end and your lives get restored back to normal. Not sure if this is where I post, but I hope some of you are able to see it. Lots of for those people and animals alike who have been affected by this natural disaster.

A lot of our members live in the affected areas and one of our members has lost her house and her husband in the fires. It is a real tragedy but we are all trying to support those in need and hopefully will make a difference.

I have been reading through some of the post. There is an outpouring of support here, which doesn't surprise me at all. My sincerest condolences to the CW member who lost her husband and home. I can't even imagine the sorrow she must be going through now. Take care, and again my heart goes out to you all.
