I had a call from Jan, who is the Supplies Coordinator for Wildlife Victoria this morning. I found her phone number yesterday on my search for where I could deliver the medical supplies to. Jan was lovely and I told her I dropped the stuff off to 4 Paws & More and she was happy with that. She said at the moment they are overwhelmed (like all support organisations) with offers and was glad the items are going straight to affected areas. We talked about the immediate and future needs to support their work. She said they will have enough linen items, but may need other items. She is going to email me with these requirements when needed and I'll put the list out here to see if anyone can help and then be a go-between (letting them know what we can get and Jan will let me know where to send it).
So if anything comes up I will let you all know

It is fabulous that so many people are getting behind this.......

As you all are aware I am a vet nurse at Chirnside Park Vet, and both Dr. Ros Fleay and myself are heading up to Whittlesea on Sunday to donate some of our time to helping in a vet/nurse capacity.........

Spoke to Denise Garret one of the carers tonight and they are now getting a bit of wildlife coming through........lets hope we can help them just a little.

Sue

Thanks Leanne. I probably can't help out material wise, but will try and donate money wise.

Thanks God for all these wonderful orgainisations and charities. Some people are just so wonderful.

I was at Whittlesea this week delivering pet food and accessories from 4 Paws & More to the very lovely people at Wildlife Victoria who are helping store it.

The people on the ground told me they have a need for pouches to be made - I have a pouch here as an example and I'm more than happy to post that to someone who wants to use it as a pattern as I am useless at that sort of thing. They also have large hessian bags that need to be sewed together by hand to make pouches for adult roos. If anyone would like more info please PM me and I'm happy to help out.

Wildlife Vic really sound organised - they are doing a teriffic job.

One of my OH's car club members donated a whole trailer of sheepskin seatcovers to be made into pouches. I think they were delivered to a Vet's but not sure where.

You can also knit little pouches they also do a great job with a draw string......

We use them for wildlife at the clinic.
