I just saw a report on Channel 9 News about the Whittlesea Vet, which has been providing free service to the area since the bushfires, they are also the emergency vet for the area. Well they need money to be able to stay open and have asked for donations
You can go to their Website which gives their bank details.
I know you have already been generous, but these people are in the frontline, so every bit will help.

ETA - should have done this in the first place, their account details

Commonwealth Bank - Kilmore

BSB and Branch: 063 - 698

Account Number: 1004 - 9260

Account Name: The Vet Practice Pty Ltd

If you requrie a recipt, I suggest you go to the wbsite, as you have to email them to ask for one.

Please get behind this vet clinic. They really do need the help. Vet clinics around Melbourne have been sending medical supplies to help with emergency treatment of animals, but there are a lot of things that we can't donate. The money will help pay for the extra staff that they have had to employ (including some nurses/vets who lost their own homes/love ones in the fires).

I have made a small donation today and will give more next pay.
I have also sent them an email to let them know that my Vet practice is going to donate as many medical products as they can spare.

I'm going to go out to the clinic tomorrow and ask what supplies they want as I was talking to a couple of the Whittlesea Rangers on saturday night and they were saying that they need wild bird seed, horse gear as well as animal supplies. My own vet and her network have been getting donations off the public which will be sent to them as well. There was a load off stuff taken up to the Coldstream vets after the show on Saturday. If anyone has some used or unwanted horse gear (halters, bridles, leads) that they would ne happy to donate and want to give me any food I'm more than happy to take it up there. I live at Roxburgh Park which is not far from there. You can contact me through cat world or on my mobile 0407 517 190.

I saw another appeal from them on the 7 News last night, they desperately need cash donations for drugs etc so they can keep operations on injured animals going. My this week's donation will be going direct to them via the good old internet banking facility on Friday.

The GCCFV are having an exectutive meeting tonight and they will be advising all members that they will be making the ute available to take any donated stuff to either Coldstream or Whittlesea at the next show on the 1 March. So if anyone is going to the show as an exhibitor or a memeber of the public, donatations woul dbe greatly appreciated.
