A visitor allowed Prince to escape from my house after only having moved to Gympie a few days prior. Prince did not have a collar on as he had just been bathed. He is very friendly and used to approaching neighbours. He is a Red Point Birman with Red ears nose and tail. Prince is 5 yrs old with big blue eyes. Googling 'lost cat gympie' brings up photos of him on other websites. Rumours are that someone relocating out of the street took him with them - I am unsure as to where they have moved to. Large reward offered for return of or information leading to Prince 0420949030. Prince is microchipped to a Brisbane address

And put his picture here so we can all keep an eye out for him. Do you have any idea where they moved to?

Bugger this not being able to edit. Contact the micro chip registry and tell them he has gone missing so if a vet checks it will come up with a flag.

Have you rung the microchip database and updated Prince's details to your current address in Gympie? If not, this is important. Should he ever be scanned for a microchip in the future (even years later), the microchip information needs to be up to date for the database to be able to contact you.
In my own experience, I have seen pets reunited with their owners years later after they originally went missing due to microchips.

Update the microchip information immediately and notify the registry that he has been taken by someone so that when anyone takes him to a vet and he is scanned, it will be flagged.

Good luck finding the baby.

Please check out my thread regarding my missing (presumed stolen) black oriental boy. You will find that I have listed everything we have done to find him. The vet will be invaluable too as they generally get to see many animals. A pedigree cat will most likely end up seeing them at some point. I really hope you get your baby back.

I take it this is him: http://brisbane.gumt...QQAdIdZ92541350?

This ad includes a photo for those who've asked.

I really hope you find him, I know how horrible it is to lose a fur baby (Melanie has gone missing for several days before).

EDIT - re: your neighbours: Do you know their names? If so, you might like to file a police report with their names and former address, saying that they may have stolen your pedigree cat. They will have to change their drivers' license details within two weeks of moving, and, when they do, police will be able to locate them via their computer system and investigate the situation.
