Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a thank-you to all those people who sent donations of vet supplies, pet items & other donated goods. I have passed everything on to Widlife Victoria. A special thanks to the person from NT who sent down a wonderful (and very heavy) pack of goods.

My day-job is at RSPCA Vic & we have been flat out receiving & processing people's very generous donations & items. Last week was so very crazy here. It was heart warming to see how much people wanted to help. Especially after the first three days for me involved speaking to fire effected residents who had lost everything & now wanted to know where their pets were.

So, on behalf of little old me - thank-you everyone. Through what has been such a painful and horrible time... it's amazing to see the support everyone has for one another.

Sarah (Sylvie)

Hi Sarah, there will be heaps more coming later this week, Heidi dropped off a bunch of goodies yesterday, and Lynne is doing several trips mid-week, and I think Karin is also collecting, so hopefully you should have more deliveries by Friday/Monday.

I will send direct to the RSPCA because it will be too much for you to take in your car otherwise, but if you prefer me to send to your home, please let me know.

I'm still chasing stuff up too. Hopefully should be more organised in the next day or so.

Lisa.

Only just saw this Sarah. It was our pleasure to be able to do our bit from way up here. Hope the volunteers were able to use what we included for them.

(We have another package to come down shortly, just need a little more money for the unbelievable postage)

I can't imagine how hard it is to face the people who have lost and are looking for their pets, many of them must be almost inconsable, so very sad. My tears are still flowing for so much pain in so many people and animals. Many hugs to you and the other volunteers, and pass them on to the people who need them for me.

You are doing amazing work, as are all the volunteers, so glad there are people like you helping out. Thank you just doesn't cover the gratitude for your efforts. bearhug.sml bearhug.sml bearhug.sml
